A couple of angels, O'Reilly and Jackson, are sent to Earth to make sure that their next supervised love-connection succeeds. They follow Celine, a spoiled rich girl who has just accidentally shot a suitor and, due to a misunderstanding, is kidnapped by janitor Robert. Although Celine quickly frees herself, she stays with Robert for thrills. O'Reilly and Jackson pursue, hoping to unite the prospective lovers.

Imagine this being the film you make after Shallow Grave and Trainspotting! The 90s was pure crazy. It's all over the place but there's lots of good things here. And frankly, I'd take a hundred interesting misfires like this over AI generated slop from Netflix. If only studios in the 2020s were willing to take risks like this. The world would be a much better place for it. Oh and if nothing else, the soundtrack is amazing. The Ash title track is one of the best things about this (and I don't actually think it's used in the film!!)
