- Is my library data private?
- Yes. KinoChain never stores your media files or full library contents. We only index titles you choose to sync, and connections are read-only wherever the service allows it. Your data is never shared or sold.
- Do I need to self-host media servers to use this?
- Not at all. Watch Tonight also works with Netflix and other streaming platforms via your logged watch history. You can also just use KinoChain as a film diary — recommendations improve the more you log.
- How is this different from Plex's own recommendations?
- Plex recommends based on what you've watched on Plex. KinoChain cross-references Plex against your entire watch history across all platforms, plus your Letterboxd-style ratings and reviews. It's a richer picture.
- Can I use multiple services at once?
