2025-12-31I thought this might be better than I'd heard, mainly because Peter Bradshaw had given it a 1 star review in The Guardian and up until the last third, it was a solid 3 star. That last third though was a gut punch. Blubbing like a baby at the end. Clooney is as good as ever and Sandler was brilliant. I like it when he stops putting on a stupid voice and making sick jokes and actually acts. The second Netflix film of 2025 I've seen with an interesting aspect ratio and one completely lost on the head of Netflix who wants people to watch on their phones and while they do something else.
