It's 36 years later and I'm still getting the feeling that America is completely fucked up. It's a 5 star film. If you don't agree, you're a literal moron. This bad boy has been on my letterboxd top 4 since 1994 and will continue to be in my top 4 until the year I die, which will be 2130. Also in top 5 for film soundtracks

Watched this for the first time when I was 15. Recorded of the TV and it must have been BBC 2 because I can't remember my recording having advert breaks. It's still the best film. It's still Christian Slater's best film (even if my wife disagrees). It's got the best soundtrack ever and it's still the only film that made me scan every radio frequency after watching, trying to find a pirate radio station! I could watch this every day.

I've seen this film far too many times over the last 25 years to be objective.
