- Is the connection secure?
- Yes. You provide your Jellyfin server URL and an API key. The connection is read-only, and you can revoke the API key at any time from your Jellyfin dashboard. Your API key is encrypted at rest.
- Does this work with a local Jellyfin server?
- Yes, as long as your server is accessible. If you're running Jellyfin on your local network, you can still connect — the sync process handles the connection.
- What data is synced?
- Film titles, years, and TMDB IDs from your library. Optionally, watched status if you enable it. Your media files are never accessed.
