Possessor
2020 · TMDB 6.4
Directed by Brandon Cronenberg
Tasya Vos, an elite corporate assassin, uses brain-implant technology to take control of other people’s bodies to terminate high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment, Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.
Why it matters
Brandon Cronenberg's sci-fi horror about an assassin who implants herself in other people's minds. The practical effects and cold, clinical colour palette update the body-horror tradition for the digital age.
