He was a writer, known for Scrooge (1970), The Belles of St. Trinian's (1954) and The Wildcats of St. Trinian's (1980). He was married to Monica Ilse Koenig and Kaye Webb. He died on December 30, 2011 in Draguignan, Var, France.
