All That She Wants
2026
Directed by Scarlett Bermingham, Andrew Rhymer
Thirty-something Millennial Emma breaks up with her boyfriend after he says he's not wanting to have a baby. A girls-night-out with her sister leads to a May-December romance with Zoomer grad student Luke, but things get complicated when she discovers that her new flame was the four-year-old she babysat as a teenager.
Why it matters
Annie Murphy plays Emma, a woman who wants a baby and cannot admit she wants the man who used to be the four-year-old she babysat. The comedy is in her timing, her evasions, and the way she keeps almost saying the true thing.
