Sean Young, born Mary Sean Young on November 20, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American actress recognized for her roles in 1980s sci-fi and thrillers. A former model and dancer trained at the School of American Ballet, she debuted in Jane Austen in Manhattan (1980) and broke through with Stripes (1981), followed by her iconic portrayal of replicant Rachael in Blade Runner (1982) opposite Harrison Ford. She continued with high-profile films like Dune (1984) as Chani, No Way Out (1987) with Kevin Costner, and Wall Street (1987).
