Beautiful! Wish I'd seen it live

I tried to like this. The cast were all great. The whole "it's set in the 90s so the aspect ratio should be 4:3 cos we er all had er small square tvs" is dumb and should not be encouraged. There were bits I liked and it probably would've been 3 stars but then it ended. Did they run out of money?!

Turns out, Spielberg has always been "pretty good". Goldie Hawn and Walter Peck are great and it looks beautiful! For films with police car carnage, this walked so Blues Brothers could run!

Possibly 30 years too old for this

First watch in nearly 30 years. My word, I love Gilliam and this is a perfect Gilliam film. No one can make a grown up story mixed with fantasy and wonder like he can. Grand Central Station, the dinner scene, the red knight. You'd be lucky to make one incredible Grail film in your life but TG has made two!

I may have said it before, but this is what I thought life was going to be like when I was older: can't sleep so meet friends at a restaurant for a late night snack and drink while chatting shit. I suppose I'll take watching people do the very same every so often in this film. Larry with the cards. Larry with the tape. Larry saying "ooh stamps", Larry with the police "badge". Woody was firing on all cylinders with this. Keaton too and Alan Alda. And a Lady from Shanghai homage at the end. Perfect Oh, and it's a great soundtrack. My favourite of Woody Allen films

Had no idea what this would be like when it started but as soon as I saw Stevie Wonder on the drums I knew this would be my thing. One of the best music documentaries I've seen. Gladys Knight and the Pips were amazing. Nina Simone was incredible and Sly and the Family Stone looked like they'd travelled from another planet to show people how it was done. The segment about the moon landings being met with shrugs from festival attendees, wondering why the money couldn't be spent feeding and educating people instead was both enjoyable and depressingly familiar. Until today, I'd heard lots about Woodstock 69 and it looked shit. I'd never heard of the Harlem Cultural Festival and it looked amazing. Why have they STILL not released the full footage from these shows?!

Just in case the cruise ship on covid lockdown in 2020, the hantavirus outbreak and the dysentery cases over the last year weren't enough to put you off ever going on a cruise ship, watch this. It's great..up until they get to the island.

This looks amazing, stuffed full of famous types and Christian Bale is great but...it's absolute dogshit. Good lord it's dull...and long!

Orson Welles spent time as a teenager travelling Ireland by himself on a donkey and cart and I'm pretty sure he never once met or spoke to single Irish person on his trip. A truly terrible Dick Van Dyke level accent and completely unnecessary but even that doesn't stop this being great. Amazing location shoots, everything looks wonderful and the final 10 minutes are incredible. Would love to see the original cut

Very rough around the edges but everything it lacks in finesse it makes up for in heart and INCREDIBLE surfing scenes. I think I might just watching skateboarding and surfing films from now on

Slueth-lite but still enjoyable. Christopher Reeves is great. Michael Caine...is Michael Caine. Stupid ending. Reminds me of the crap last line of The Mousetrap

With the personnel on this one, it should easily be a 5 starrer. But it's not. Looks like an extended jolly to a sunny location

So, the man who directed the second best shark film ever also directed a mid-00s version of And Then There Were None starring Christian Slater, Val Kilmer, JLM AND the most enjoyable actor of the late 90s, LLCJ...and I've only just heard about it?! Crazy what a crap title can do for you. Hard not to be entertained. This probably got panned back in 2004 but I reckon most people will watch this now after 22 years of blockbuster crapola and yearn for the good ol' days. Also, don't know about anyone else, but I've always got excited when I see Dimension Films logo at the start. You know you're in for a good time!

First watch since it was released in cinemas in 99. Still really enjoyable although the ending is a little sudden. The real question is why on earth did he only ever want half a cup of tea? Fill that bastard cup up, cock!

Some half decent songs and a terrible story is pretty much the standard with Elvis films. How white were his teeth?!

What a story!! This kind of thing couldn't happen now, I suppose. Back in 2004, I had a computer that was connected to the internet but it was upstairs, and required turning on...and there really wasn't much good stuff to look at, so once you'd done what you wanted to do, you safely shut it down.

Great film but the music is incredible!

Put off watching this for a while. Directed by the guy who thought Dial of Destiny was a good idea...no thanks. But it's really enjoyable. Chalamet is a convincing Dylan. Norton is fantastic as Seeger. Difficult to believe that one man was responsible for so many incredible songs in such a short space of time.

So very depressing. Zac Efron is brilliant

A wonderful film. Beautiful, inspiring and heart breaking in equal measure.
