Really enjoyed this. Jack Black is great. Linklater has a really interesting body of work and a high hit ratio

Still wonderful nearly 30 years later. A worthy best picture winner (after the incredible 30 mins opener, Saving Private Ryan is total arse). If this was made now, London would be a CGI'd hellscape. So good to see real sets and real locations.

Loads of fun. McAdams is great but Sam Raimi is the king. More of this sort of stuff!

Do you remember when films were good? That time has passed. Now all films are like watching boring cut scenes from a video game you don't want to play. The CGI is terrible. The script is boring. Everything is awful all at once.

I don't know why I watched this. I knew it would be crap and it didn't disappoint. The worst thing being, my subscription pays for this nonsense. Netflix = Dogshits

80s and 90s Aussie TV pretended Oz pubs were like The Waterhole/Chez Chez. But this is what ALL Australian pubs are like. Julia Garner is awesome

Well, that was heart breaking. Great performances, devastating story. Similar to The Florida Project, except with a tent in a field instead of Disneyworld

This never came to Stoke in 96 so only ever watched it on VHS/DVD. What an experience it is in the cinema! Pretty much crying from the off. A really clever adaptation. Seen countless stage versions of R+J and none even come close to this. And imagine making an updated version and actually improving the ending. Juliet waking up and them both realising what's happened is a proper gut punch.
